A federal judge ripped into an election-denying lawyer who had represented one of Donald Trump's allies in the defamation lawsuit brought by Dominion Voting Systems.U.S. magistrate judge Moxila Upadhyaya prohibited attorney Stefanie Lambert, who had represented former Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne in the lawsuit, from being involved in the case due to her “truly egregious misconduct,” saying she had “flagrantly and repeatedly disregarded court orders” by publicly releasing “thousands, if not millions” of internal Dominion documents without legal justification, reported CNN.“Lambert’s actions were intentional and clearly meant to inflict the harm that has resulted,” Upadhyaya wrote. "This Court cannot allow such intentional, dangerous, and relentless misconduct to continue.”ALSO READ: Harris has figured out Trump’s greatest liabilityLambert was indicted in Michigan over her alleged role in an effort to seize voting machines in hopes of proving her conspiracy theories about Trump's election loss in 2020, and she was charged again in May with transmitting data from an electronic poll book in Adams Township that would have included individual voters' personal information. She and Byrne are among the former president's allies who have been prosecuted, sued or disbarred as a result of their effort to help Trump remain in office despite losing to president Joe Biden, and the pair continue to promote debunked claims that Dominion software fraudulently influenced the outcome.“Byrne and Lambert’s acts have not only fueled theories of widescale election fraud and crime," Upadhyaya wrote. "They have resulted in real harm and threats to Dominion employees."“Lambert’s repeated misconduct raises the serious concern that she became involved in this litigation for the sheer purpose of gaining access to and publicly sharing Dominion’s protected discovery,” Upadhyaya added.
