The S&P 500 index fell 0.3% on Monday, while the Nasdaq index fell 0.9%. Stocks in both indexes fell as shares of several technology companies plunged. Nvidia's stock price fell by 2.2%, followed by Microsoft which fell by 0.8%, followed by Amazon which fell by 0.9%, and Meta and Tesla which fell by 1.3% and 3.2% respectively.
