The presence of the FETO organization in Kosovo, worrying for Turkey

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday raised his country's concern over what he said was the existence of the FETO group in Kosovo, referring to the organization of cleric Fetullah Gulen, whom Ankara blames for the July 2016 coup. . Minister Fidan made these comments during a press conference with the Foreign Minister of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla, with whom, as he said, he also discussed the fight against terrorism. “We also talked about the steps that should be taken against the FETO terrorist organization. Unfortunately, FETO's presence in Kosovo continues to be of concern to us. I want to emphasize that FETO is a threat to Kosovo as well. We must fight this organization together”, said Minister Fidan, according to a translation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo. Minister Gërvalla did not comment on this issue.
