WASHINGTON – The US State Department announced new sanctions on Russian state media on Friday, accusing a Kremlin-controlled outlet of working closely with the Russian military and organizing fundraising campaigns to buy sniper rifles, bulletproof vests and other equipment for soldiers fighting in Ukraine.
