PHOENIX — Mark Meadows, former chief of staff to President Donald Trump, did not secure his motion to move a case charging him with election fraud to federal court, ruled the Arizona federal court where he tried the maneuver. Because his alleged attempt to submit the names of fake Republican electors from Arizona in an effort to overturn the 2020 election results was “unrelated to his official duties,” his motion is denied and the suit is remanded to state court. Meadows also missed the deadline to request this removal.
