President Joe Biden met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House on Friday to discuss support for Ukraine, amid repeated demands from Kiev for Western partners to lift restrictions on the use of their long-range missiles. Ukraine says that such a thing would allow hitting military targets deeper into Russian territory. After more than two and a half years, Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine while US President Joe Biden and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer met at the White House. “The United States is committed to standing by you to help Ukraine as it defends itself from Russian aggression. It is clear that Russian President Vladimir Putin will not win this war”, declared Mr. Biden. “I think the coming weeks and months could be decisive. It is very, very important that we support Ukraine in this vital fight for freedom”, declared the British Prime Minister. The meeting comes as Western allies are considering changing their policy to allow Ukraine to use long-range weapons provided by the United States and Britain to strike deep into Russian territory.
