Arizona indicts poachers

PHOENIX — An Arizona grand jury returned a 30-count indictment accusing 14 suspected wildlife poachers of animal cruelty, theft, conspiracy and illegally conducting an enterprise connected to the poaching of bighorn sheep, elk, pronghorn antelope, deer, javelina and turkey. The animals are regulated under state law.
