The head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, said that relations between Kyiv and Washington “are back on track.” Andriy Yermak said this in an interview with Reuters. Yermak said that during the talks in Saudi Arabia, the Ukrainian side demonstrated that it was open to cooperation with US President Donald Trump. This is in contrast to Russia's approach to the negotiations, which, according to Yermak, “just plays games.” As a reminder, on March 25, in Saudi Arabia, the United States reached separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia to suspend attacks in the Black Sea and against energy targets. However, Russia has announced conditions for the implementation of the agreement, demanding sanctions relief so that it can regain access to international export markets for its fertilizers and agricultural products. Yermak noted that this step is indicative of Russia's approach to peace talks in general. “This shows that they (Russians - ed.) have not accepted an unconditional ceasefire, which is nonsense,” he said.
