Ukraine is moving towards fighting with equipment rather than personnel. Anatoly Khrapchinsky, an aviation expert and deputy general director of a company producing electronic warfare equipment, spoke about this on the FREEDOM TV channel. According to him, Ukraine took the issues of artificial intelligence very seriously and began to directly implement it in its weapons. “And here it should be said that if after the First World War we saw tanks, after the Second - we saw the active use of aviation, now Ukraine is setting a new tone. That is, we are talking about starting to fight with equipment, not with personnel. That is, we are saying that personnel should be in a safe place, at a safe distance,” the expert said. According to Khrapchinsky, there are already confirmed facts when Ukrainian UAV production companies controlled their unmanned aerial systems from an exhibition in Paris, when the UAV itself flew over the territory of Ukraine. “Therefore, in principle, we have pretty good developments that allow us to be technologically advanced and offer the whole world a very good solution. In general, the use of artificial intelligence is the next step in combat operations, because again, the main philosophy of the future of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is the creation of systems that will fight with equipment without the participation of personnel directly in the theater of operations,” Khrapchinsky said.
