European officials believe that Iran may soon deliver its ballistic missiles to Russia, marking the first such transfer since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. According to Bloomberg, as reported by "European Pravda," this transfer of ballistic missiles "could represent a troubling development" in the more than two years of Russia's war against Ukraine. Officials declined to provide details on the type of ballistic missiles Moscow might receive, the size of the shipment, or the timeline. However, one official mentioned that deliveries could begin "within a few days." Bloomberg also reports that Western nations, including G7 countries, are already discussing potential sanctions if Iran supplies ballistic missiles to Russia. Among the measures being considered are new restrictions on Iran Air. Additionally, the G7 is preparing to publicly condemn Tehran's actions and reach out to Middle Eastern countries through diplomatic channels. Reuters, which first reported the preparation of the ballistic missile transfer from Iran to Russia, suggested that the missiles in question could be Fath-360 systems, which launch ballistic missiles with a maximum range of 120 kilometers and a 150-kilogram warhead. It's known that Iran and Russia have been intensifying their military cooperation since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. However, Iran officially denies providing military assistance to Moscow. Tehran has only admitted to supplying a small batch of kamikaze drones to Russia before the full-scale invasion. Despite this, media reports have repeatedly detailed how Russia receives weapons from Iran.
