Fisherfolk president is PDP Tobago West candidate

All Tobago Fisherfolk Association (ATFA) president Curtis Douglas has been announced as the Tobago West candidate for the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP) for the April 28 general election. PDP political leader Watson Duke, who announced the decision on March 24 at the party's Scarborough office, will run for Tobago East. ATFA has been critical of the Farley Augustine-led THA administration over its handling of compensation to fisherfolk following the February 7, 2024 oil spill. ATFA also recently held a joint press conference with Duke. The post Fisherfolk president is PDP Tobago West candidate appeared first on Trinidad and Tobago Newsday.
