Hundreds of children from ages seven to 17 will join Youth Sport Camps 2024, weekdays from August 12-23 at venues across Trinidad and Tobago. There are 30 indoor and outdoor camps, including 13 in Tobago, between 9 am and 2 pm. Participants will be introduced to 18 sporting disciplines: athletics, basketball, boxing, cricket, chess, cycling, dragon boat racing, football, futsal, golf, gymnastics, hockey, netball, rugby, tennis, sailing, swimming and volleyball. Registration for the camps is free, and lunch will be provided to participants. Youth Sport Camps is a flagship development programme that seeks to introduce children to a variety of sports during the July-August vacation period.
