THE EDITOR: October 2018 was the date on which road restoration works were completed in the St Ann’s and Cascade areas. However, the Hololo Mountain Road was ignored, with the reason given being that finances had been expended. The concerns then were that there was discrimination against the residents based on class. These were knocked back by the councillor and the MP for the area. However, despite multiple attempts to get the situation attended to, nothing has been done. October will be six years since that day and the situation remains the same. We residents are still waiting for the promises to be fulfilled. The MP appears to be too busy to entertain our concerns and we’re not sure if the councillor is available.
