Rent hikes exacerbate the situation, leaving many struggling to afford housing. This economic strain is felt across all aspects of life, from groceries to transportation and housing. The middle class is particularly hard-hit, facing dwindling purchasing power and mounting expenses. This crisis calls for urgent policy interventions to stabilise prices and ease the financial pressures on citizens, and the stress of crime impacting everyone.
