Independence night lights

DAZZLING fireworks lit up the night sky for the annual Independence Day celebrations at the Queen’s Park Savannah, Port of Spain on August 31. Newsday's chief photographer Jeff K Mayers captured these images from the rooftop of the National Insurance Board (NIBTT). Special thanks to the NIBTT for making these images possible.   [caption id="attachment_1106321" align="alignnone" width="1024"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1106322" align="alignnone" width="759"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1106328" align="alignnone" width="1024"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1106327" align="alignnone" width="1024"] NIBTT corporate communications manager Tricia Clarke, left, chats with executive director Niala Persad-Poliah on the rooftop of the NIBTT Building at Queen’s Park East, Port of Spain, during the fireworks display at the Queen’s Park Savannah on August 31. - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1106323" align="alignnone" width="1024"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1024"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption]   [caption id="attachment_1106326" align="alignnone" width="746"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption] [caption id="attachment_1106325" align="alignnone" width="1024"] - Photo by Jeff K Mayers[/caption]   The post Independence night lights appeared first on Trinidad and Tobago Newsday.
