PRO Series got a lethal double from their striker Jaseem Celestine as they strolled to a 3-0 win in the final of the Next Level Consultant Ltd (NLCL) Under-15 Community Cup final against Cox Coaching School at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella on July 13. Cox Coaching School showed their dominance through the early stages of the tournament as they rattled off eight straight wins in Group B play, before getting a resounding 4-0 win against City FC in the semifinal at the Marabella venue on July 6. In the final, Cox Coaching School put their nine-game winning streak in the tournament on the line, and they were unable to stand up to the test from Celestine and Pro Series. Celestine looked a step sharper than his counterparts in the final, and his swift movement and instinct led him to open the scoring for Pro Series in the 11th minute when he sent a sweet left-footed volley into the top corner past Tevez Houlder, who was deputising for the suspended Mikhail Clement. In the dying stages of the 70-minute affair, Celestine gave Pro Series a two-goal cushion when he applied another assured left-footed finish past Houlder – this time with a vicious low effort which arrowed into the bottom corner. With their eyes firmly set on the $7,500 NLCL top prize, Pro Series put icing on the cake in second-half stoppage-time when Jervais Frederick converted from close range to give his team an unassailable advantage. Cox Coaching School may have won nine games on the trot in this year's NLCL tourney, but Pro Series emphatically had the last say to add to the Republic National Youth Football League Under-16 title they captured last month.
