Natural beauty

Alishan in southern Taiwan’s Chiayi County is ranked 19th in the list of 52 Places to Go in 2025 recently released by The New York Times. The area’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, as well as the reopening of the 112-year-old Alishan Forest Railway last July after 15 years of renovation attract visitors.
