Ram Gopal Varma Convicted in Cheque Bounce Case
Ram Gopal Varma got a huge success through his previous work in films like Satya, Rangeela, Company and Sarkar. Recently, the Director has been facing some financial problems as he's been sentenced to three months of Jail. The main root of the problem arises from a 2018 cheque bounce case involving the film 'Shree'. The director has not made any fresh new films in recent times. In 2022 ,the filmmaker was released on bail as he paid a security cash of Rs 5000. The Mumbai Magistrate court has now sentenced him to three months of imprisonment in this cheque bound case. The director was called for a hearing in court on Tuesday, January 21 but he did not appear in court Thus, the court accused him under Section 138 of the Negotiable instruments Act.
