"Gill's Instagram Move Sparks Speculation with Rohit Sharma"

Shubman Gill, initially selected as a reserve player for the ICC T20 World Cup  2024, traveled with the Indian team to the USA but did not secure a spot in the final 15-member squad. After the New York leg of the tournament, he was sent back to India by the team management due to disciplinary issues. Reports indicated that Gill's attention to personal business ventures overshadowed his commitments to the national team during the ICC event. Initially, Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan, and Khaleel Ahmed were named as reserves in the Indian T20 World Cup 2024 squad. Following the New York leg of the tournament, Gill and Avesh Khan were requested to return home, while Khaleel Ahmed and Rinku Singh remained as backup players. Since Team India arrived in the United States of America, Shubman Gill  had been noticeably absent from the team's travels, focusing extensively on his business ventures rather than fully prioritizing his cricket responsibilities. During the India-Pakistan match, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, and Rinku Singh were present to support the team, but Gill was conspicuously not in attendance. There is speculation about tension between Shubman Gill and team captain Rohit Sharma, as Gill has reportedly unfollowed Rohit on Instagram.
