Hyderabad's MEIL bags Rs 13k cr NPCIL contract

MEIL, known for its significant electoral bonds donations, has secured a substantial Rs 12,800-crore EPC contract from the Nuclear Power Corporation of India. This Hyderabad-based firm outbid major players like L&T and BHEL to undertake the construction of 2x700MW electrical reactors at the Kaiga project in Karnataka. Scheduled for completion in 66 months, this project represents MEIL's entry into India's nuclear energy sector, crucial for advancing the country's clean energy goals.
