'You Are a Married Man'; Taapsee Pannu's Hilarious Comment on Husband Mathias Boe's Retirement

Bollywood actress Taapsee Pannu’s husband and badminton star Mathias Boe announced his retirement from coaching after the Indian badminton pair Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy exited from the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. The former Danish badminton player who won a silver medal winner in the London Olympics had been coach of the badminton duo since before the Tokyo Olympics. He took to social media to announce his retirement by sharing a picture of himself with the two players and a heartfelt message in the caption. His post read, “For me, my coaching days ends here, I’m not going to continue in India or anywhere else, for now at least. I have spent too much time in a badminton hall and it’s also pretty stressful to be a coach, I’m a tired old man.” See the Instagram Post Here:  View this post on Instagram A post shared by Mathias Boe (@mathias.boe) Taapsee Pannu who is married to the former coach commented a hilarious reply on the post Using a teary-eyed emoji, she wrote, “But also now u r a married man. U need to take a step back. I need to come back home from work every day to ready dinner and cleaning in order. So chop chop!” This cheeky reply has gained her a lot of attention from the netizens.  Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy were considered strong contenders and everyone had hopes of them winning a medal for India, but they lost to Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, in the men’s doubles quarterfinals and thus their journey ended. Under Boe’s guidance, the duo had won a bronze medal at the 2022 world championships and a gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Boe consoled the pair in his post by saying, “I know you guys are gutted, I know how much you wanted to bring a medal back to India, but this time it wasn’t meant to be… You have won so much over the past years and you are going to win so much more in the future.” Taapsee Pannu recently celebrated her 37th birthday in Paris. She will soon be seen on the big screen in the Akshay Kumar starrer, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’, that will be streaming on Netflix soon.
