Kit Harington recently reflected on the backlash surrounding the final season of Game of Thrones, acknowledging that the ending was "rushed." In an interview with British GQ, the actor, who portrayed Jon Snow, admitted that the cast and crew were exhausted by the time they reached the finale, which impacted the pacing. Harington shared that he looked "exhausted and spent" during the final season and understood why fans were disappointed with some of the creative choices. Despite the mixed reception, the Game of Thrones franchise continues to grow. Harington confirmed that a planned Jon Snow spinoff was shelved due to challenges in developing a compelling story. Meanwhile, House of the Dragon Season 2, which premiered recently, has received varied feedback but will proceed with two more seasons. Additionally, a new series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight, is currently in development, keeping the franchise alive.
