PM Modi releases 109 high-yielding, climate-resilient crop varieties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi released 109 climate-resilient, high-yielding, and biofortified varieties of 61 crops. He urged Krishi Vigyan Kendras to inform farmers about these varieties, which are tailored for different agro-climatic zones. Modi emphasized their potential to boost yields and incomes, and encouraged sustainable farming. Agriculture minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was present.
