What Will The Winners of The National Film Awards Get? Details Inside

On August 16, the winners of the 70th National Film Awards were announced. These awards celebrate films that were certified by the Censor Board between January 1 and December 31, 2022. The winners of these awards will be honoured by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony in October 2024, alongside the receivers of the esteemed Dadasaheb Phalke Award. These awards also include cash prizes. The most prestigious cinematic awards, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, comes with a cash prize of ₹15 lakh. Followed by this, the winners of the Swarna Kamal, or golden lotus award receive a cash prize of ₹3 lakh. And lastly, the Rajat Kamal or silver lotus award winners receive ₹2 lakh across.
