Bollywood Actor's 11 Crore Bank Fraud: Bank Seals Property!

Rajpal Yadav Bank Fraud Case Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav is embroiled in a bank fraud case, with part of his property in his native village being sealed due to unpaid dues. The property, located in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, was sealed by a Mumbai-based bank after Yadav failed to repay a loan, according to an official statement. Manish Verma, the branch manager of the Central Bank of India, explained that Yadav had taken a loan from the bank's Mumbai branch by mortgaging his property in his hometown. In 2005, Rajpal Yadav established a production company, 'Navrang Godavari Entertainment Limited,' in his parents' name. To fund this venture, he secured a loan of Rs 5 crore from the Central Bank of India's Bandra Kurla Complex branch in Mumbai. However, Yadav now owes the bank Rs 11 crore, leading to the sealing of his property. Locals reported that the bank officials sealed the property in such haste that they neglected to turn off electrical appliances inside the house. Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena stated that he was unaware of the sealing, as the local police were not involved in the matter. Rajpal Yadav, who hails from Kunda village in Shahjahanpur district, visits the area at least once a year. He received his early education in Banda town before moving to Shahjahanpur for his graduation. It was during his time in Shahjahanpur that Yadav developed an interest in theatre, eventually leading him to the Bharatendu Natya Akademi in Lucknow and later to the National School of Drama in Delhi. Rajpal Yadav is widely recognized for his comedic roles in films. His notable works include Bhool Bhulaiyaa, De Dana Dan, Khatta Meetha, Partner, Phir Hera Pheri, and many others. This is not the first time the actor has faced issues related to unpaid loans. In 2018, Yadav served a three-month jail sentence for defaulting on a Rs 5 crore loan he had taken in 2010 to produce the film Ata Pata Laapata.
