Namibian cheetah Pawan was discovered dead at Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, submerged in a nullah. Initial findings suggest drowning as the cause of death. This incident comes shortly after the death of a five-month-old cheetah cub named Gamini. With Pawan's death, KNP now hosts 24 cheetahs, equally split between adults and cubs.
Two females, Midge and Oats, were discovered shortly after their release into the Cairngorms National Park.
