In an interview with Hindustan Times, the director shared that he is starting work on a horror fantasy film with Akshay Kumar, produced by Ekta Kapoor, which will blend humor into its narrative. He clarified that while their previous collaboration, "Bhool Bhulaiyaa," was a psychological thriller, this new project will be rooted in fantasy, incorporating elements of black magic, an ancient Indian superstition. Priyadarshan expressed his enthusiasm for working with Akshay Kumar once again, praising the actor’s ability to convey emotions effectively.
