Bangalore on High Alert, second leopard spotted within a month

Panic takes over Electronic City, the tech corridor of Bangalore as a leopard was spotted strolling early this morning. The wild cat was captured in CCTV of Nettur Technical Training Foundation's (NTTF) toll plaza, at 03:00 AM, crossing Hosur road before running in the opposite direction. According to the officials, the leopard moved from the Panak India Company area to the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) ground and was captured in the NTTF CCTV footage. Sunil Joshi, Principal of NTTF, said, "We got an update from the camera near the toll gate that a leopard had passed near the compound wall. Precautionary checks were conducted on the campus. The forest department officials also came to reconfirm and said that no leopard was seen. A camera image suggested that it moved from the compound wall, so we took the necessary precautions, as this is a training centre." The officials and the local cops suggest both spottings to be of the same wild cat. It's suggested that the leopard came from the Bannerghatta National Park (BNP) side.  The leopard hasn't been seen the entire day, nevertheless, the LTF (Leopard Task Force) has been deployed for combing operations in nearby areas.
