Breast cancer causing chemicals found in food packaging

Breast cancer is a silent killer. A recent study published in Frontiers in Toxicology identifies 189 potential breast cancer-causing carcinogens present in food contact materials, with 76 chemicals migrating into food. Researchers highlight the chronic exposure risk to the population and urge preventive measures to remove these hazardous substances from the food supply chain.
