Uhm Ki Joon Confirms his Wedding Date

Actor Uhm Ki Joon is preparing for a new chapter in his life as he gets ready to tie the knot later this month. On December 12, STAR NEWS revealed that Uhm Ki Joon will marry a non-celebrity woman in a private ceremony on December 22. The wedding will take place at a hotel in Seoul, and the actor has been actively preparing for the event, including sending invitations to close friends and colleagues. Later that day, Uhm Ki Joon’s agency confirmed the report, stating, “It is true that Uhm Ki Joon will be getting married on December 22.” The news of his upcoming wedding isn’t entirely new to fans. Back in May, Uhm Ki Joon personally shared the joyous news through a heartfelt letter. While he has kept details about his fiancée private, the announcement was met with overwhelming support and congratulations from fans and peers alike. Born in 1976, Uhm Ki Joon, now 48 years old, has had an illustrious career since debuting in the play Richard III in 1995. Over the years, he has impressed audiences with standout roles in musicals, plays, and popular dramas such as Defendant, Heart Surgeons, The Penthouse, Little Women, and The Escape of the Seven. Uhm Ki Joon shares a close bond with fellow actors Yoo Jun Sang, Min Young Ki, and Kim Bup Rae, who became his friends while working on the musical The Three Musketeers in 2009. With this wedding, he will be the last of the group to get married.
