Newly appointed Black Stars management committee chairman Randy Abbey has expressed confidence in the team's leadership, describing the members as highly competent and capable of assisting the technical team in reviving the national team's fortunes.Abbey, who is also the Chairman of COCOBOD, was named to lead the committee, with former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah serving as his deputy.The restructuring comes after several members of the previous committee stepped down, leading to its collapse.Speaking to Accra-based Channel One Citi, Abbey highlighted the experience and passion within the new committee, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar in March.“It's not about me, it's about the players, it's about the technical team, and it's about the team that I work with,” he said.“Fortunately, I have some very, very competent members on the team.
