Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has described calls to dismiss Black Stars coach Otto Addo as premature.The 48-year-old coach has faced mounting pressure despite guiding Ghana to a draw and a win during the September international break of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.Following a strong double victory in March, the Black Stars were held to a 1-1 draw by Chad before securing a hard-fought 1-0 win over Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium in Matchdays 7 and 8.Despite these results, criticism from fans, pundits, and sections of the media has intensified, with calls for Addo’s dismissal growing louder.Sports Minister Kofi Adams recently expressed dissatisfaction with the team’s performance, while former Majority Leader in Parliament Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu questioned Addo’s suitability to lead Ghana to the World Cup should the team qualify.However, Sannie Daara, now serving as a Senior CAF Media Officer, believes such demands are premature.
