Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh joins USL side Indy Eleven

Indy Eleven has bolstered its attacking options by signing seasoned Ghanaian forward Elvis Amoh, a prolific presence in the USL Championship over the past six seasons.The 32-year-old striker, known for his clinical finishing and aerial prowess, joins from Detroit City FC, where he was instrumental in securing the club’s best-ever #3 seed in the 2024 Eastern Conference playoffs.Standing at 6’2, Amoh has consistently delivered throughout his USLC career, tallying an impressive 42 goals and eight assists across 134 appearances. His journey began with Loudoun United in 2019, where he quickly showcased his goal-scoring instincts. Highlights of his career include a stellar 13-goal season with Colorado Springs Switchbacks in 2022 and a remarkable strike rate of a goal every 120.5 minutes for Rio Grande Valley FC in 2021.From Kumasi, Ghana, Amoh also boasts experience in the Ghana Premier League, Canadian Soccer League, and Czech football, making him a versatile and experienced addition to Indy Eleven’s roster. Pending approvals, Amoh is set to bring his expertise and leadership to the club’s 2025 campaign.
