NSA assures Baba Yara Stadium readiness for Black Stars' AFCON qualifier against Angola

The Ashanti Regional Director of the National Sports Authority (NSA), Kwame Baa, has reassured fans that the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi will be ready to host the Black Stars' opening 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola in September.The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed the match will be played on September 5. With only a month left, concerns have arisen about the stadium's condition following recent non-sporting activities.Players and coaches have frequently expressed dissatisfaction with the pitch, and these activities could potentially worsen its state.
