Hearts of Oak set to finalise signing of Kwabena Boateng

Hearts of Oak are on the verge of securing a major addition to their squad with the imminent signing of former Legon Cities striker Kwabena Boateng.The 18-year-old forward is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Phobians after undergoing a successful medical evaluation on August 7, 2024.Boateng, who is joining Hearts of Oak on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract with Legon Cities, is poised to enhance the attacking depth of the team.His move to the Phobians comes on the back of a promising season where he made 28 appearances and scored six goals for Legon Cities.In his first preseason appearance with Hearts of Oak, Boateng featured in a thrilling 3-3 draw against Bechem United at the Pobiman Sports Complex.His dynamic playmaking and goal-scoring ability are expected to add a new dimension to Hearts of Oak’s attack as they prepare for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
