Young referees impress at KGL U17 Colts Championship

The 2024 KGL Foundation Inter-Regional U17 Colts Championship has been praised for its high standard of refereeing, with the young officials drawing positive reviews from the Ghanaian public.The GFA’s Catch Them Young Refereeing initiative has been instrumental in developing the talents of these young match officials, who have demonstrated maturity and competence throughout the tournament.Thirty referees, both male and female, have been selected for the competition and have undergone rigorous training and mentorship. Their performances have been impressive, and they have shown significant growth in their decision-making abilities.The GFA will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the referees' performances following the conclusion of the championship on August 8, 2024.
