Legon Cities coach Paa Kwesi Fabin talks transfer strategy ahead of 2024/25 season

Legon Cities FC coach Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has provided an update on the club's transfer plans as they gear up for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.Despite a quiet summer transfer window and notable departures, Fabin remains focused on a strategy that has served the club well in the past.The Royals have seen the exit of key players including Samuel Tenedu, Mohammed Sumaila, and Kwabena Boateng. However, Fabin has emphasized that the team will not pursue any high-profile signings this season.“The bulk of the team is there. Samuel Tenedu, Kwabena Boateng, and Mohammed Sumaila are the only players to have departed the team and that’s why we are doing this exercise to replace them,” Fabin stated in an interview with Kessben FM.Fabin revealed that the club will continue its policy of relying on talents from the second division, rather than seeking high-profile recruits.“At Legon Cities, we don’t make signings, we only rely on second division players.
