Ajax secure future with young Ghanaian goalkeeper Paul Reverson

Dutch Eredivisie giants Ajax have secured the future of promising goalkeeper Paul Reverson, signing the 19-year-old to a three-year contract with an option for two more.The shot-stopper, who has been on the radar of several top European clubs, has opted to commit his long-term future to the Amsterdam-based outfit.A product of the Ajax youth academy, Reverson joined the club at the age of eight and has steadily progressed through the ranks.His impressive performances for the U18 team last season, where he made 26 league appearances, earned him a promotion to the U23 squad for the upcoming campaign.Born in Amsterdam to Ghanaian parents, Reverson holds dual nationality and has the option to represent either Ghana or the Netherlands at the international level.Ajax’s Director of Football, Marijn Beuker, expressed his delight at securing Reverson’s signature, highlighting the goalkeeper’s potential."Paul has shown significant development in recent years," Beuker said.
