Hearts of Oak coach Aboubakar Ouattara has expressed confidence in preparing his revamped squad for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season, despite acknowledging the significant changes within the team.Ouattara's comments followed the club’s 2024 Homowo Cup victory over Heart of Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday. The Phobians emerged victorious in the annual pre-season tournament, which provided a morale boost ahead of the new campaign. The team has been active in the transfer market, with numerous new signings reshaping the squad. Only a few players from last season's disappointing 14th-place finish remain in the starting lineup, reflecting a major overhaul.Despite the changes, Ouattara remains unfazed. He believes that the team’s potential is akin to a diamond in need of polishing. “We have time to prepare in just a few days—less than one month. It’s better than this one. I don’t have any pressure about that. I know we can do it. These boys can deliver,” he stated.Hearts of Oak’s new-look team will aim to improve upon their previous season’s performance and leverage their recent victory to set the tone for a successful season ahead.
