The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has completed the first phase of its free License D coaching course in the Ashanti Region.The five-day program, designed to enhance grassroots football coaching, saw 30 coaches from juvenile clubs participate.As a pioneer in this nationwide initiative, Ashanti Region hosted the first batch of coaches who received comprehensive training at no cost.Upon completion, all participants were awarded certificates.The GFA aims to train a total of 900 coaches over three years to address fundamental challenges in grassroots football.This ambitious project is part of the association's broader strategy to strengthen the foundation of Ghanaian football.Addressing the coaches, GFA Vice Chairman Joe Abu Salam congratulated them on their achievement and encouraged them to continue their professional development."It’s yet another significant moment in the history of Ghana football.
