Hasaacas Ladies fall to Edo Queens in WAFU Zone B qualifiers

Ghana Women’s Premier League champions Hasaacas Ladies experienced a setback in their quest for a spot in the CAF Women’s Champions League as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Nigeria’s Edo Queens in their second game of the WAFU Zone B qualifiers.Following a goalless draw against Burkinabe side Omnisports Etincelle in their opening match, Hasaacas Ladies hoped to secure their first win against Edo Queens. However, the Nigerian team proved too strong, scoring three goals over the course of the match to seal a decisive victory. The defeat leaves Hasaacas Ladies with one final game in the qualifiers against AS Garde National. With the current standings not favouring them, the Ghanaian champions face a challenging path ahead as they strive to advance to the next stage of the competition. The Ghanaian champions are hoping to make it to another edition of the CAF Women's Champions League.
