Asante Kotoko focus on team unity ahead of new season

Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya has emphasised the importance of team unity as the club prepares for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.Following a disappointing campaign last season, the Porcupine Warriors have undergone a significant squad overhaul, bringing in 12 new players.Yahaya has stressed that the club is building a well-rounded team that relies on collective effort rather than individual brilliance.The midfielder believes that this approach will be crucial for Kotoko's success in the new season."We are building an all-round team for next season," he told media."We are not going to rely on individual players. We don’t have to depend on one particular striker.""We are not building the team on one particular person. We should all be able to score when the going gets tough."The club are set to face Medeama SC in a pre-season friendly match on Friday before their league opener against Karela United on the weekend of September 6-8.
