Berekum Chelsea commit to Samuel Boadu for two years

Berekum Chelsea have secured the services of coach Samuel Boadu for the next two seasons.The decision comes after a great stint for the former Hearts of Oak manager, who joined the club mid-season on a short-term deal.Boadu's impact was evident as he guided Berekum Chelsea to a third-place finish last season despite joining the team mid-season.Impressed by his performance, the club's bankroller, Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah, has extended the coach's contract.Jantuah expressed his belief that the club could have challenged for the league title had Boadu been in charge from the start."We should've have won the Ghana Premier League title last season but our coach left us in the second round, which derailed our chances."We have signed two-year deal with coach Samuel Boadu and the focus now is to win the league title next season" he told Kessben FM.With the two-year deal in place, the focus now shifts to securing the 2024/25 league title, a target that has eluded the club since their 2011 triumph.
