Chief Executive Office of Ghana Premier League side Bibiani GoldStars, Akwasi Adu, has lauded vice president Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's promise to buy buses for club's in the domestic topflight league. Dr Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party ahead of the 2024 election, launched his manifesto over the weekend, sighting plans to improve the Ghana Premier League.In an elaborate scheme, the vice president pointed out player remuneration as well as supplying clubs with buses."Yes, if that kind of commitment is fulfilled, it will be something that we will not forget, especially looking at how transportation has become a big ticket in terms of budgeting for the local clubs," he said, as quoted by Citi Sports."So it will be something that we will all be looking forward to him satisfying it when he gets a note.
