Otto Addo is thoroughly enjoying his return to the Ghana job, finding it exciting to work with the players once again.Having previously led Ghana to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, where they secured just one win and faced a first-round exit, Addo left the role but is now back on a full-time basis following Chris Hughton's departure.He has signed a long-term contract and is pleased to be working with the team again."It’s a good feeling! I knew most of the boys from the last World Cup, but it’s also good to see new Ghanaian talents coming up," Addo told FIFA media."It’s very interesting to work with them, so it’s been good seeing them," he added.Although Addo’s second stint began with a defeat to Nigeria and a draw against Uganda, he has since turned things around with impressive wins against Mali and the Central African Republic.These victories have bolstered Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup.The Black Stars will return to action in early September with games against Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.By Enoch Fiifi Forso
