Crystal Palace interested in Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah could end up at Crystal Palace as the London club are said to be eyeing a move for the English-Ghanaian.If the deal goes through, Nketiah will replace Ghana striker Jordan Ayew, who recently joined Leicester City.Last week, Nketiah seemed set to join Nottingham Forest after agreeing to personal terms, but the move fell through due to a breakdown in the agreement between the clubs.A deal worth up to £30 million was on the table, but it’s now off, leaving Nketiah still looking for a new club.This follows an initial failed move to France, where Marseille showed interest in Nketiah but have since signed striker Elye Wahi from Lens.The 25-year-old forward is eager to leave Arsenal for regular game time, having struggled to secure a spot in the starting lineup.Nketiah joined Arsenal in 2015 from Chelsea's youth system. His contract in north London runs until June 2027 after he signed fresh terms in 2022.Nketiah has scored 38 goals for Arsenal across his career and found the net six times in 37 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side in the 2023-24 campaign.
