Frimpong Manso sees positives in Goldstars' narrow defeat to Kotoko

Bibiani Goldstars' head coach, Frimpong Manso, has expressed satisfaction with his team's performance despite a narrow 1-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko in a pre-season friendly.The match, held on Wednesday afternoon in Cape Coast, saw the Porcupine Warriors clinch victory with a spectacular strike from Bernard Somuah.Although his side fell short, Manso highlighted several positives from the game."We've had about six games so far. We lost to Asante Kotoko, but I think there are a lot of positives from the game.""We will fix our shortfalls before the season begins next month," Manso commented.The pre-season friendly was part of Bibiani Goldstars' one-month training tour in the Central Region.The team will now return home to finalise their preparations for the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, set to commence on September 6, 2024.
