Goldstars midfielder Stephen Banahene grateful to club after successful surgery

Bibiani Goldstars midfielder Stephen Owusu Banahene has expressed his appreciation for the club's support following a successful surgery to address an injury that kept him sidelined.Banahene, a key player for Goldstars, underwent the procedure and is now undergoing therapy to aid his recovery.He thanked the club's CEO, Akwasi Adu, and the entire team for their support during this challenging time.He said, "I will thank Goldstars, the fans and the entire playing body for the support and love they’ve shown me.""I’m grateful to the CEO, Akwasi Adu for the massive support throughout this challenging period. I have embarked on therapy through the support of Goldstars."With the goal of making a swift return to action, Banahene is optimistic about contributing to Goldstars' success in the upcoming 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign.The 30-year-old defensive midfielder has amassed 76 appearances in the league, playing for both Ashantigold and Bibiani Goldstars.He joined Goldstars in February 2023 after concluding his tenure with Ashantigold.
