Baba Yara Stadium on track for AFCON qualifier

The National Sports Authority (NSA) Board Chairman, Seth Panwum, has assured fans that the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi will be ready to host the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Ghana and Angola.Despite recent concerns about the stadium's condition, Panwum expressed confidence in the recovery plan.The stadium, which hosted a mass church event, is currently undergoing repairs to address the damage to the playing surface.The NSA is working diligently to ensure the facility meets CAF's standards for the upcoming match."The place was given out for a program. I had to review their recovery plan, you know, and I think they are right on track," Panwum said on GTV Sports Plus."I had an update this morning from Kumasi, and I think all hands are on deck to meet the deadline.
