Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer seeking exit from Augsburg

Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer is reportedly eyeing a move away from FC Augsburg after a difficult first season at the club.The 24-year-old, who joined from SV Darmstadt 98 last summer, struggled for regular playing time, making just nine appearances for Augsburg.Plagued by injuries, Pfeiffer has found it challenging to establish himself in the team.Despite his limited game time, the centre-back has attracted interest from several Bundesliga clubs, including Mainz and Hoffenheim.With his contract running until 2027, Augsburg could be open to a transfer if a suitable offer arrives.Valued at €2 million by Transfermarkt, Pfeiffer is keen to secure a move that will allow him to showcase his abilities and further his career.
